If you have ever walked an airport with your carry on suitcase trailing behind you, you know that you arm feels 6 inches longer by the time you get to your gate. Most luggage handles are poorly designed as you bend and twist in a most un-natural fashion!
Put an end to the arm and neck pain with the Travel Tow. This ergonomic rotating handle adapter provides an extremely comfortable way to pull or push your existing wheeled carry-on baggage because it actually rotates a full 360°. You can then position your hand naturally at your side. Ingenious!

Is someone’s habit driving you insane? Perhaps they constantly interrupt you in mid-sentence or continuously whine, or are chronically late? Cancel your reservation at the loony bin and take a look at these humorous Habit Patches (SRP $4.95).
A witty blend of a 12 Step Program, the patch, and a rewards program, Habit-Patch is the revolutionary way to communicate your concern and give the culprit in your life the tools he or she needs to quit!
Each Patch Aid includes step by step instructions on how to break free from the habit in question in 21 days; 21 Maximum Strength Patches to assist in re-training the brain (each adhesive patch is a little bigger than a quarter); and three Denial Patches (which should be applied with peer pressure if this otherwise awesome person can’t complete Step 1).
Habit-Patch is supposed to be an inexpensive and effective catalyst for positive change. There are so many great habits they tackle including a patch for Spending, Gossiping, Gum Smacking, Mooching and Being a Control Freak.
I’m banking on the Stop Being Messy Habit-Patches for my kids. I’ve tried everything known to man to get them to pick up but perhaps this fun and humorous approach is the key!
After all, the New Year is almost here and I’m thinking we all have more than a few habits to break. Wait… I just noticed at least two for myself: the Work-a-holic and Backseat Driver Habit Patches seem to speak to me…

It’s time to wrap the presents! So haul out the rolls of paper, gift card, ribbons and bow and settle in with a cup of gourmet coffee! Gift wrapping has never been a big favorite with me – odd as I owned a gift store for 16 years, but my skill level extends as far as a gift bag!
I must admit however, that things are much easier since I’ve discovered the most incredible tape dispenser. The Heavy Weight Tape Dispenser (SRP $50) doesn’t bounce all over the table and land up on the floor with the dogs scrambling for what they perceive to be their “new toy”. No, in fact it actually stays put and allows you to use only one hand! Imagine… it stays still!
The body is cast in zinc alloy and weighs an astonishing 1.4kg (3 lbs); combined with a forged stainless steel blade that cuts tape perfectly. Not something you’ll want to be throwing in a fit of wrapping exasperation!
The Heavy Weight Tape Dispenser is a must-have this holiday season. It may be a slightly trivial problem, but during this somewhat stressful time of the year, every little bit of simplicity helps!

Have you ever watched today’s teenagers use their computer keyboards? I’m blown away by the speed and accuracy of their typing skills – they type faster than my eyes can follow! But, based on my experience with three teenagers, their penmanship skills lag far behind. Seems as though the keyboard is mightier than the lowly BIC ballpoint!
Perhaps if I lent them my Yoropen (SRP $49.99) things might be different…. but I won’t! It’s simply the best pen that I’ve ever owned. Winner of the gold medal at Salon International Invention Awards 2002, and the winner of four 2005 design awards, the Yoropen is the most ergonomic pen ever invented.
The design and angle of the pen insures that your writing field of vision is clear and that your fingers don’t obstruct the writing. What’s more, it has a tripod grip that is designed to rotate which allow you to find your personal, most comfortable writing style. It’s funny, but this offset support portion actually relaxes your fingers and reduces any strain! It just makes writing that much easier. Another bonus - left handers will no longer smudge their writing!
The Yoropen
makes a great executive gift but is actually a great writing instrument for everyone - people with disabilities, children and or anyone stuck writing for sustained periods. Once you get past the different “look”, there is no doubt that it will become your absolute favorite. It’s one of those pens you are forced to hide from everyone… especially in this house…

I don’t know about you, but my desk is cluttered with so many electronic gizmos, that I often have to spend time searching for a remote, cell phone or iPod buried beneath a pile of research papers. The only thing that seems to be stationary and easily accessible is my phone, as it has its own charging stand – always in plain view. I must not be alone and finally… a solution has been invented!
The iSeat (SRP $29.99) is a seat, or place to rest your gizmos! Not just any seat, but a multi-functional and decorative accessory for the home and office. It perfect to sit your cell phone, MP3, iPod or PDA on while charging! You can listen to music, view photos or my favorite – actually find your cell phone when it rings!
Handmade from high grade optical glass, this Venetian model resembles a pricey paperweight. It just makes a desk look more elegant and organized! The iSeat makes a great gift for that executive who has everything – it comes beautifully boxed and the glass can be personalized with an engraved name. It may be slightly frivolous – but aren’t most great gifts? There’s no accounting for beauty and organization…

If you are searching for a unique gift for that avid reader in your life, here’s a fun find that just might be the perfect fit. The Sticklebook has been around for a while in Europe, but more recently available here in North America.
Called the world’s first invisible shelving system, it creates the illusion of a line of books hanging unsupported on the wall.
The Sticklebook is essentially an aluminum bracket with combed strip that grips the cover and pages of paperback books. You simply attach it onto your desired wall space and then just tap the books you want to hang against the combed strip. Believe it or not – they stay and don’t fall down! To remove the books, you gently pull the books away to release the leaves from combs.
A unique alternative to the traditional bookcase, the Sticklebook (SRP $29.99 to $44.99) can be used in any room in the house, office or work space: from hanging recipe books in the kitchen to children’s books in their bedroom and business books in an office. It can even be used to hang those books up in the bathroom! Sticklebook is 50cm long and holds about 13 average-sized paperbacks.
Winner of numerous design awards, this unique “bookshelf” will have people doing a double-take as the books appear to be floating on your wall. It’s fun, different and will certainly be a focal point in any home or office!

One of my biggest beefs in life is the amount of electrical and cable wires that seem to have taken over my office. Honestly, there are days where I am convinced that the mad jungle of wires under my desk will wrap around my feet, never letting me escape - kind of like an undersea octopus. And behind my computer… you don’t even want to know! Even my associates, Westies Sassy and Sparky don’t venture there anymore…
One small step in the right direction is this colorful USB hub (SRP $22.99 cad) that allows me to avoid reaching behind my hard drive. Like many of you, I need to connect all sorts of stuff – from memory sticks to iPod cables and hate to go through contortions to get to anything on the floor.
With a sleek and stylish design, this hub is made from a durable plastic and measures 8” in length but folds up to a compact 1.5” when not in use. The 29” cord gives me enough length to connect to my mainframe and its colorful design is perfect to find on my cluttered desk!
I can use all four ports at a time and with a USB 2.0, the full speed equals 12 Mbps - for all you who understand this stuff! All I know is that you’ll no longer find me crawling under my desk with the dogs nipping at my heels thinking its playtime…

Have you ever tried to find a gift for that executive in your life? Perhaps something that will amuse and help reduce his (her) stress level at work? Look no further than these remarkable desk toys called Pit and Pendulums
.
These elegant pendulums create entrancing symmetrical designs at the touch of your fingers – you just set them in motion and watch! You really will be mesmerized as they swing in narrowing circles and ovals, then reverses directions to create perfect rectangles and squares in the sand.
The Pit & Pendulum (SRP $45 to $100) is a perfect gift for home or office and comes in a variety of sizes and finishes including wood, chrome and resin.
Some may consider Pits and Pendulums a frivolous executive toy – and they would possibly be right! But once you have played with one for a while and watched how the kinetic energy creates incredible patterns in the sand, you’ll think otherwise. It’s amazing how these “toys” really do relax and de-stress…
